Earlier this month we made modest, but not insignificant, progress in our journey towards providing our patients in rural Guatemala with access to high quality healthcare 24/7/365.
We are pleased to now be open on Saturdays!
We continue to actively fundraise in order to increase our budget and subsequently grow our local team to a sufficient size so that we can ultimately transition to having our doors open and lights on ready to see patients day or night, everyday, all year round. While this is a challenging goal, we also believe it is a worthy and important goal as we recognize that ILLNESS DOES NOT CARE WHAT TIME IT IS.
We look forward to the day we can install a sign similar to the one pictured below.
